Texarkana, USA – April 15, 2019 – The Texarkana Twins announced on Monday three additions to the 2019 summer roster. Junior college pitchers Joe Kibbe, of Wharton County, Drayton Harris of Navarro, and Brandon Morse of Paris will look to bring high quality depth to a growing Twins pitching staff.
Harris, the Royse City, Texas native, is in his freshman season with Navarro Junior College. During his high school career and his time with the Houston Banditos program, he developed a fastball that will sit in the upper 80’s and touch the 90 mph range. Drayton will look to become a weapon for the Twins pitching staff.
Joe Kibbe, the Cinco Ranch, Texas native, pitches for Wharton county where he is currently in his freshman season. He has made five appearances in his first season in collegiate baseball while making one start. He has pitched in 6.1 innings while striking out six.
Brandon Morse, from Groves, TX, is a sophomore at Paris junior college, where he currently holds a 2.57 ERA, and is striking out over 11 per nine innings. Brandon has made 5 appearances in the 2019 season to date.
