Texarkana, USA – May 20, 2019 – Lamar University pitcher Braydon Credeur and University of Texas Rio Grande Valley pitcher Colton Davis sign with the Twins for the 2019 season.

Braydon Credeur from Nederland Texas, is a freshman at Lamar University. Credeur is a 6-0 182, right handed pitcher who was a reliever during the season. Braydon has a 90 mph fastball, and has very good command of his slider and change up. During Credeur’s highschool career at Nederland Highschool he was top 500 nationally ranked player, and was the co-pitcher of the year in 2018. The Twins will use Credeur out of the bullpen during the 2019 season.

Colton Davis, Corsicana TX, plays for University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Davis was a part of a team that won the WAC regular season championship. Davis during his junior year of highschool was a second team All-district campaign with a 4-1 record and a 1.58 ERA. Davis will be a starting pitcher for the Twins during this upcoming season.

Credeur and Davis should provide some depth to the lineup. Credeur’s control will be something that we as a staff will try to use, and Davis should be a very good starter for us during the upcoming year.
