Texarkana, Texas (August 15,2017)- The inaugural season for the Texarkana Twins is in the books after a TCL playoff berth and a 19-34 overall record. Multiple Twins were named to 2017 TCL awards. 

Drake Osborn was named TCL 1st team catcher with a .324 batting average, 36 hits, and 13 RBI. 

Alex Rodriguez was named 1st team second baseman.Rodriguez had a .336 average and had 32 RBI and 3 home runs in only 29 games. 

Johnny Gonzalez was named 1st team Designated Hitter.  Gonzalez had a .272 average and 15 RBI in the 2017 campaign for the Twins. 

Two Twins players were named to the TCL second team, Gunnar Halter at shortstop, and Kyle Bottger named to the second team utility player. 

Halter on the season had a .279 batting average and 14 RBI. Bottger had a .270 batting average and 25 RBI in the 2017 TCL campaign.
