Twins get revenge on the Generals in game twoTexarkana, USA – June 3, 2019 – Twins get revenge on the Generals in game two of the series. The Twins beat the Generals 10-6 in a back and forth game. Lee Thomas’ home run that helped the Twins pull away from the Generals. Scoring really picked up in the fifth inning for the Twins. Top of five they scored three runs to tie the game at 3-3. In the sixth inning they scored three more runs thanks to a Tom Litchy double. Litchy was 3-5 and had a walk in tonight's contest, his best hitting performance of the year. Unfortunately, the Generals tied it up in the bottom of the sixth making the score 6-6. The seventh inning is where the Twins took control scoring four runs making it 10-6. Three of the runs came off a Lee Thomas home run, his second of the year. Thomas was 2-4 with 4 RBI’s on the day and two walks. On the mound Joseph Standley was big again for the Twins. He pitched 3 ⅓ scoreless innings and had 3 strikeouts. The Twins are still on the road as they take on the Acadiana Cane Cutters in their next game in Youngsville, Louisiana.
